The bomboniere are objects that are presented at important occasions such as marriage, first communion, baptism, confirmation, anniversary of the Golden Wedding (50 years of marriage), or Silver Wedding (25 years of marriage), bomboniera bomboniera.
In recent years the use of the boxes has been extended to other ceremonies to celebrate such as the award of Diploma, Degree, and for birthdays. We tend to use items that may be used as complements of furnishings (small ornaments and refined), or which, however, can be used in any way. All these items are always packed with bags, tulle or ribbon containing confetti in odd amounts: 1, 3, 5 or 7 according to the customs of the place. The color of the same depends on the type of ceremony, bomboniera bomboniera.
The bomboniere for the children are generally prepared with boxes, tulle or colored and cheerful bags containing confectionery or chocolate cakes. All boxes contain a card printed with details of the ceremony (the name or names of the celebrated, the ceremony date, other data may be required). A new type of bomboniere for all ceremonies and is accompanied by replacing, in many cases, bomboniere described: the "Bomboniera cake" made of cardboard boxes to similar to slices of cake and placed in the likeness of a pie pastry.
Above each box is a set object suited to the type of ceremony and made with various materials, from porcelain to poliresina, in crystal, silver. At the center of the cake there is always a subject coordinated with those used on boxes, but larger and important.
